Nate Gualtieri is an award-winning writer and director originally from the Boston area. He is best known for his work as a staff writer on the Berlanti/CW series GOTHAM KNIGHTS. He is also the co-writer of DESIRE LINES, a narrative documentary starring Theo Germaine. They are currently a Film Independent Writing Fellow in Project Involve 2023. His work has screened at Outfest, SF Trans Film Festival, and New Filmmakers LA.
Nate focuses on drawing out the high stakes in grounded, everyday narratives. They are passionate about storytelling from a transmasculine perspective. He has worked with both established and emerging transgender talent, including River Gallo and Ian Harvie. His latest short film, PIERCING, premiered at Outfest Los Angeles 2022.
