Zenobia was born in Syracuse, New York to a single mother. She grew up on the rough west side, in the James Geddes Projects. Zenobia occupied her time with writing short stories and poetry. During her teenage years, she was up rooted to Portsmouth, Virginia; where Zenobia rebelled by being promiscuous, while indulging in underage drinking, drugs, and eventually becoming pregnant and homeless.
A single parent of two and living in the Swanson Homes Projects, Zenobia took a creative writing course while attending Tidewater Community College and realizing her dream of writing could not be contained, she wrote her first novel, “2 Fast Going Nowhere, An Urban Erotic Novel,” which was published in 2010 on print on demand through Xlibris Publishing as well as her second and third novels, "Lost Ones" and "Lost Ones Part 2: Twisted." Zenobia has gained a true following on literotica.com with her short stories; acquiring over 35,000 readers and Zenobia's previous website, 1zenobia.com from 2009-2011, received over 8,000 hits.
In 2017, Zenobia returned to her hometown of Syracuse, where she is currently working on her fourth novel and a couple of screenplays for TV and film. With the launch of Zenobia Pictures, she has embarked on writing, directing and producing her own movies like THE WEST END. In 2019, Zenobia wrote and Executive Produced, ZENOBIA’S LOST ONES, a proof of concept short film based on her 2nd novel, “Lost Ones.” Film Students took part in filming, actIng and directing the proof of concept short film.
