Explore the profound impact of visual storytelling in Mental Health with the "Narratives" international photography festival. We invite patients, caregivers, relatives, and clinicians from around the world to share their unique perspectives through the lens of a camera. Whether your photograph captures a moment of struggle, triumph, resilience, or hope, it has the power to illuminate the essence of your mental health journey.

In this groundbreaking exhibition, we seek compelling photographs that delve deep into the complexities of the mental health system. Each image should tell a poignant story, offering insights into personal experiences, challenges, and moments of connection within the realm of mental health.

Selected entries will receive a spotlight on the prestigious Cine-Psych website (www.cine-psych.com), reaching a global audience passionate about mental health advocacy and awareness. Additionally, the winning photographs will be featured in the pre-show for Cine-Psych's esteemed Mental Health Arts Event on October 30th, 2024, hosted at the historic Westdale Theatre in Hamilton. Renowned for its cultural heritage and artistic expression, the Westdale Theatre provides an ideal setting to showcase the transformative power of visual storytelling in mental health.

For this inaugural year, the entry fee is extremely low, to break down barriers to participation and invite voices from all walks of life to contribute. Join us as we harness the transformative power of art to reshape the narrative on mental health. Through your lens, let's weave a tapestry of stories that illuminate the human experience.
