Napa Valley StreamFest Submission Rules and Terms:
1. Eligibility: All films must be original works of the submitting artist.
Submissions are open to filmmakers worldwide, regardless of age, nationality, or experience level. Films can be of any genre, or format but must be designed for streaming platforms or have a digital release. Work-in-progress and films with distribution are accepted.
COMPLETION DATE ELIGIBILITY
Any submitted project must have completed production no earlier than September 2024.
Films do not need to be world premieres, but we are actively seeking fresh, original content that has not been widely showcased.
2. Submission Guidelines: All submissions must be made through our designated platform (e.g., FilmFreeway). Films must be submitted in their final form; no revisions will be accepted after submission. Multiple submissions from the same artist are allowed, but each film must be submitted separately.
Submission fees are non-refundable. All submissions are required to go through FilmFreeway.
If you are having trouble with the online form, please e-mail us at info@napavalleystreamfest.com
3. Deadlines: All submissions must be received by the specified deadline. Late submissions may not be considered. Early submissions are encouraged, as slots are limited and may fill up before the final deadline.
4. Selection Process: Films will be reviewed by a panel of industry professionals and festival organizers. Selected films will be notified via email by the date specified on our platform. The festival reserves the right to determine the category and screening time for selected films.
5. Screening Requirements: If selected, filmmakers must provide a high-quality digital copy of their film for screening. Filmmakers may be required to submit promotional materials, including stills, posters, and trailers. The festival reserves the right to use clips or stills from selected films for promotional purposes.
6. Rights and Permissions: By submitting a film, the artist confirms they have all necessary rights and permissions, including music, images, and footage. The festival is not responsible for any claims related to copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property violations.
7. Exhibition Rights: By submitting, the artist grants Napa Valley StreamFest the right to screen the film during the festival and any related events. The artist retains all other rights to their work.
8. Code of Conduct: All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner. Napa Valley StreamFest has a zero-tolerance policy for harassment or discrimination of any kind.
9. Liability: The festival is not responsible for any lost or damaged submission materials.
The artist agrees to hold the festival harmless from any legal claims or disputes related to their submission.
10. Acceptance of Terms: By submitting a film, the artist agrees to abide by all rules and terms outlined above.
The festival reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time.
