  • I had a terrific experience at Napa Valley StreamFest. From the beautiful theater to the thoughtfully designed schedule, everything is in one place, making it easy to enjoy every event without feeling like you're missing out on something else.

The festival attracts fantastic filmmakers, podcasters, musicians, comedians, and celebrities. It has full, engaged audiences, and offers incredible hospitality. We had a blast presenting WAIT and participating in the festival community.

Kudos to Fearon, Juliana, and the entire StreamFest team for creating something truly special. Their hard work, passion, and attention to detail are evident in every aspect of the experience. I highly recommend this festival to any filmmaker.

When festivals are run by people who know film... but also how to organize and entertain, it certainly shows! Fearon and Juliana pulled together an amazing several days. Their numerous volunteers were fantastic, the get togethers were several AND fun, and they didn't double book any blocks or panels, which was gold to filmmakers and allowed everyone to get to know each other. Very strong fest!

Napa Valley StreamFest hosted the world premiere of my pilot, SANDWICHED and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The whole weekend was expertly curated. The fact that there weren't competing events on the schedule helped foster an incredible community of Fest Goers and Creatives and by the end, it felt like family. I cannot recommend this fest enough - a MUST submit and even moreso a MUST attend!

I had an amazing time at this festival. The theater where my film screened was beautiful, almost full, and the audience was very engaged. The gatherings, industry breakfasts and parties were also phenomenal. I'm looking forward to going back next year.

My first feature film, Road to L’Etape du Tour, played at the 2nd annual Streamfest, and I was so honored to be included in the wonderful lineup!

I love that the festival is all in one area in downtown Napa, so it’s very walkable. But if your feet were sore or it was late at night, Streamfest had volunteers who would drive you back to your hotel or from one venue to another. There was lots of free food and drinks provided to the filmmakers, which is actually quite rare and so appreciated.

Because of its smaller size, all the filmmakers got to know each other and were able to support one another and see everyone’s films, which was wonderful! It really felt like we were all a little community by the end!

My only note would be to improve the tech, especially for features. Given the venue (which is beautiful but not a proper cinema), films had to be sent as QuickTime links rather than DCPs, which did affect the quality of my film and a few others at their screenings. Otherwise, it was a truly great festival that ran very smoothly! Excited to see it grow in the coming years!

    Response from festival:

Hey Julia! Thanks for the review and for the feedback! We hope to bring DCP in the coming years :)
