The Mysuru International Film Festival (MYIFF) is an annual celebration of cinematic excellence and cultural diversity, held in the historic and vibrant city of Mysuru. As a beacon of artistic innovation, MYIFF brings together filmmakers, industry professionals, and cinema enthusiasts from across the globe to share their passion for storytelling.

At the heart of MYIFF lies our commitment to discovering and nurturing new talent in the world of cinema. In line with this mission, we are proud to present the Elephant Award, a symbol of inspiration, strength, and creativity. This prestigious accolade is awarded to emerging filmmakers and artists whose work demonstrates exceptional promise and originality.

The Elephant Award is more than just a trophy; it is a tribute to Mysuru's deep cultural heritage and its iconic association with elephants. Crafted with meticulous artistry, the award serves as a tangible reminder of the recipient's contribution to the world of film and their potential to shape the industry’s future.

Each year, MYIFF carefully curates a selection of films that resonate with universal themes while celebrating diverse perspectives. Alongside these screenings, we host panel discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities to foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing among participants.

The presentation of the Elephant Award is a highlight of the festival, taking center stage during our closing ceremony. This moment not only honors the recipient but also inspires the audience to celebrate creativity and innovation. Through this award, MYIFF aims to encourage emerging talent to push boundaries and create compelling stories that captivate and connect audiences worldwide.

Join us at MYIFF as we continue to shine a spotlight on the next generation of storytellers and celebrate the transformative power of cinema.

The officially selected project will receive the MyIFF laurel along with a certificate. All the Winners will be listed on our website and also will be shared on our social media.
