MyFilm48 is Russia's first and largest international AI film competition, founded in May 2024. Over five seasons, the project has united more than 3,000 participants from 42 countries — from high school students to professional studios — all exploring what becomes possible when imagination meets generative technology. Participants have 96 hours to create complete cinematic works using only AI tools, competing for prizes that have grown from $3,300 to $33,000. Winners receive industry accreditation to the Cannes Film Market and recommendations for the AI Cinema Showcase at the 79th Cannes International Film Festival.
Season VI: The Industrial Season
MyFilm48 announces its most ambitious chapter yet, dedicated to the theme of industry and industrial development. This season explores how generative technologies can reimagine the aesthetics of production, manufacturing, and human ingenuity at scale.
The creative journey culminates in "Generator" — Russia's first international AI filmmakers conference, taking place March 13–14, 2026, at Moscow's ATOM Museum. This landmark two-day event brings together leading AI cinema professionals from Russia, Indonesia, Thailand, South Korea, Singapore, France, and beyond for workshops, expert panels, and networking. The conference will showcase the best works of the season and host the grand awards ceremony announcing the winners. Over 10,000 attendees expected. This is where the global AI filmmaking community converges.
Our jury features directors and visual innovators from Russia, Iran, China, UAE, and beyond who are defining the future of AI cinema.

Over five seasons, MyFilm48 has built a recognition system for winners where the prize fund grew from $3,300 to nearly $33,000. In Season 4, winners of the main categories received between $500 and $1,800.
But the true value lies in professional opportunities. Each winner and participants gains direct access to the industry — collaboration offers come from brands, production companies, and our international jury from Russia, Iran, China, UAE, and Bahrain.
Season 5 elevated the competition to the international stage. The grand prize winner received accreditation to Marché du Film in Cannes — professional access to the global film industry, interviews with international media, and a physical AI Film Awards trophy. The ceremony took place in Bali as a three-day program, with the best works included in the AI Cinema Showcase at Cannes Film Festival 2026.
MyFilm48 has earned Gold and Bronze awards at Silver Mercury Festival, reached the top-100 among 35,000 submissions at Russia's "Strong Ideas for New Times" forum, and received the "Golden Strategy" national award in the AI-Breakthrough category. This is an ecosystem where a high school student from Novokuznetsk outperformed professional studios, proving that when technology levels the playing field, vision wins.

MyFilm48 operates as an international creative sprint where participation is completely free. You receive 96 hours to create a complete AI film from concept to final cut. All visual content must be generated using AI tools during the competition period based on text prompts, with traditional post-production allowed only to enhance creative vision through compositing, editing, and color correction.
The competition prohibits pre-made works and cheating. Anonymous submission ensures unbiased expert evaluation—your entry cannot contain your name or pseudonym during judging to guarantee fair assessment based solely on creative merit.
Copyright respect is paramount—you cannot use copyrighted music, images of recognizable people, trademarked characters, or branded content without explicit permission.
International jury evaluates works on two criteria: originality of creative solution and story depth, plus visual execution quality and technological innovation. Each receives 0 to 10 points. Experts vote independently based on professional expertise and viewer experience, with final rankings calculated by arithmetic mean. All expert deliberations remain confidential and unpublished.
The competition runs entirely online with transparent timelines, moderation periods, and result announcements. This framework has processed over 3,000 submissions across five seasons, proving that when technology levels the playing field, the most compelling stories rise to the top.
