Muestra Movimiento Audiovisual generates a platform for dissemination of artistic proposals that work with audiovisual language highlighting the movement of bodies, ideas and realities, as a result of the contemporary social context and the autonomous expression of its creators.
We are a Festival based in Guadalajara, México. Our team is based in Mexico, Austria and Australia.

Muestra Movimiento Audiovisual genera una plataforma para la difusión de propuestas artísticas que utilizan el lenguaje audiovisual como herramienta para mover cuerpos, ideas y realidades, como respuesta al contexto social contemporáneo y la expresión autónoma de sus creadores.

En esta 8va edición Muestra Movimiento Audiovisual celebra la naturaleza seleccionando este año la tematica "Dialogos con el paisaje natural".

Special mentions will be awarded to the most outstanding pieces of the 8th EDITION international selection.

The selected audiovisual materials will be projected to the public within cultural spaces of the city of Guadalajara and as part of the Festival bosque la primavera ( Forest festival) program.

Rules & Terms

VIDEODANCE AND VIDEOART

For the selection of audiovisual pieces, the following parameters will be taken into account:

Clear integration of the aesthetic and discursive approach: congruence between the proposals of photography, movement, sound and narrative.
Original piece that exhibits at least one of the following elements:
-Theme related to the environment.
- Natural landscapes.
-Dialogue body-nature.
High definition image quality (HD 1080p)
Maximum duration 8 min.

DOCUMENTARY

For the selection of short documentaries, the following parameters will be taken into account:

Clear integration of the aesthetic and discursive approach: congruence between the proposals of photography, movement, sound and narrative.
Original piece with a theme related to the environment.
High definition image quality (HD 1080p)
Duration 20-30 min.
Subtitles in Spanish for materials in other languages.

VIDEODANZA Y VIDEOARTE

Para la selección de las piezas audiovisuales se tomarán en cuenta los siguientes parámetros:

Integración clara del planteamiento estético y discursivo: congruencia entre las propuestas de fotografía, movimiento, sonorización y narrativa.
Pieza original que exhiba al menos uno de los siguientes elementos:
-Temática relacionada con el medio ambiente.
- Entornos naturales.
-Dialogo cuerpo-naturaleza.
Calidad de la imagen en alta definición (HD 1080p)
Duración máxima 8 min.

DOCUMENTAL

Para la selección de los cortometrajes se tomarán en cuenta los siguientes parámetros:

Integración clara del planteamiento estético y discursivo: congruencia entre las propuestas de fotografía, movimiento, sonorización y narrativa.
Pieza original con temática relacionada al medio ambiente.
Calidad de la imagen en alta definición (HD 1080p)
Duración 20-30 min.
Subtítulos en español para materiales en otros idiomas.

    A pleasure and honour that “Spirit Of The Tree” was selected and screened at Muestra Movimiento Audiovisual this year. Communication was excellent. It meant so much to me to see photos of the actual screenings, helping me to feel a little closer to the event from a distance. The online brochure offered interesting information on all the films selected and was a big bonus. Social media was tastefully and efficiently handled.
