Mudita at the Movies is a unique collaborative indie event that pairs five original short films by local filmmakers with brand-new musical scores composed by our talented Resident Mudita Composers.
These scores will be brought to life by the Mudita Collective Orchestra, performing live as the films are screened for the very first time, creating an immersive fusion of story and sound.
Once accepted Filmmakers will collaborate with their composer to develop a score that suits their vision for the project. We are looking for films of varying genres to show the diversity of the arts in the Central Florida Area.
We are accepting finished projects as well as WIP’s as long as you have a picture lock by June 1st you will be considered. But don’t wait We’re only accepting 5 short films.
If your film is already complete all you have to do is remove the score from the file and submit it with just the video and sound design.
