Mountains and Sciences film festival programs adventure and discovery documenraty films developping in mountaneous and polar regions. We bring to the public films about current research, technology, history and social studies, at a level that is accessible to the widest audience.

The festival starts in Grenoble - Palais des sports (4000 attendies theater where the 1968 Olympics took place)

More than 10 cities visited by our festival in France, (mostly Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes). Attendies : +9000, and still growing

Rules & Terms

ONLY films referring to sciences, mountains and polar regions are eligible. All other topics will be rejected immediatly.

When entering a film to the festival, filmmakers accepts that their films, if selected, will be programmed to some or all the dates of the show.
The program selection is performed solely by the organizers (Association Montagnes et Sciences). The dates and times of the show are solely fixed by the organizer.
All selected films receive a financial retribution (except for institutional ones).

    Great initiative, unfortunately the festival had to be cancelled because of the Covid. Hope it will be able to get going soon! Congratulation to a great team preparing all this!
