Moritz Feed Dog is the only international film and fashion festival in the region, celebrating ten years in Barcelona with its own critical, creative, and diverse perspective in a constantly evolving sector. Beyond runways, big names, and trends, the festival focuses on storytelling, visual culture, and the narratives that cross the world of fashion: identity, gender, sustainability, tradition, and community.

With an open and inclusive vision, we select documentaries each year that tell powerful, revealing, and human stories. Fashion, yes—but as a driver of change, memory, advocacy, and also of beauty.

Supported by a passionate, cross-disciplinary, and professional team, Moritz Feed Dog celebrates its tenth anniversary in 2026, more eager than ever to share stories that inspire and connect us.

AWARDS AND JURIES

The award will be exclusively dedicated to the Feature Documentary category. FEED DOG juries will consist of a minimum of three members. Individuals directly involved in any competing production may not serve on the jury. The jury’s decision will be final and does not require justification.

SUBMISSION PROCESS

The following types of works are eligible for FEED DOG consideration:
Genre: Documentaries (feature-length and short), documentary or fiction series, and other audiovisual content related to fashion. The subject of fashion may be approached from any perspective or angle—social, aesthetic, ideological, biographical, anthropological, etc. The main style (if any) will not influence the selection criteria.

Duration: There are no duration restrictions for eligibility, although there may be limitations for participation in the national or international competitive sections (see specific conditions in the “Awards and Juries” section).

Films in production: A work in progress may be submitted, but only one pre-final version will be accepted. It is recommended that this version be as complete as possible, and that you clearly indicate what remains unfinished. Please note that the selection will be based on the screener, regardless of its stage of completion.

The deadline for submissions to the international FEED DOG 2026 call is January 1, 2026.

SUBMISSION FORM AND SCREENERS

Entries must be submitted through this form.

SELECTION PROCESS AND COMMUNICATION OF RESULTS

FEED DOG has an International Selection Committee that evaluates films to shape each edition’s program and determine which titles will be included in the Official Section of the festival.

The committee’s decision will be communicated by email to the contact address provided in the submission form and will be final and binding.

CONDITIONS AND CONFIRMATION OF PARTICIPATION

All selected documentaries will receive a contract formalizing their participation in the Festival, which must be signed in order to confirm inclusion. After formalization, participants must provide the Festival with the corresponding promotional materials and the screening copy. The cost of transporting the screening copy will be covered by the Festival.

The Festival organization reserves the exclusive right to officially announce the list of selected titles and will determine the order and screening dates for each work.
From the moment of confirmation until the closing date of the Festival, selected documentaries must respect the release schedule (physical or online) communicated by FEED DOG. Films may not be withdrawn from the Festival once the screening permission has been signed, and participants are required to provide all materials necessary for optimal projection in due time.

The Festival reserves the right to refuse participation to any film that does not meet the required technical standards for high-quality exhibition or that has held screenings or premieres in any format without prior notification to the Festival.

SECTIONS

Each festival organizes its sections according to local needs.
