Moreno Bogdan is a 21-year old Croatian filmmaker.
He directed, wrote, acted and produced his first feature film Other People’s Things (cro. Tuđe stvari) — which is going to be released in 2026. The film is a socio-economic dark comedy set in modern Croatia, made ambitiously.
He earned an Youth Film award for his first film Enjoy Your Meal (cro. Dobar tek). For his 2nd film, Conviction (cro. Osuda) he won an award for Best National Short Film on Four River Film Festival, the biggest Student Film Festival in Croatia. Later on, he was awarded Best Montage on Filmski Front Film Festival in Novi Sad, Serbia.
In 2025, he finished his first documentary short film called "5 things I have tell you". The story follows a cross-country odyssey in which the director confronts his estranged father after 10 years of separation across the sea in Dublin.
He finished "Je suis à bout", his next fiction short film about a boxing match in an luxurious home. It's a socio-economic story about performative young people, what it means to be true in the world, and the limits people go to hide their true selves. I
