Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Ajmi is an Omani film director and the secretary of the Omani Cinema Association. He holds a diploma in lighting and a bachelor's degree in radio and television.
Al Ajmi has received several awards in the field of cinema, including the Audience Award at the International Tyre Film Festival in Lebanon for his film "Al Manor" in 2023. He also won the Jury Award at the Shababik International Film Festival for his film "Circle". Additionally, he received the Best Omani Film award at the East Cinema International Festival in 2023.
His artistic experiences include directing several narrative and documentary short films, as well as holding positions such as the director of film festivals, like the International Al Batinah Film Festival in 2022 and the First Film Meeting in Muscat in 2021.
He has also worked as a cinematographer for several films, including "The Road to Mecca" directed by Anwar Al-Ruzaiqi, "Blue Perhaps" by director Mohammed Al-Kindi, "Ashes" by director Sulaiman Al-Khalili, and "The Steps" by Dr. Hamid Al-Amri. He has participated in several film festival juries as well.
