Born in South Auckland, Mitchell Thorburn has always been interested in film since primary school by going to cinemas to see the latest releases, made his first film when he was 16 and made 3 more during his time at high school.
Took a one year course in Drama Directing / Screen Writing to create his first short film 'LE PHOTOGRAPHE' with South Seas Film and Television. A film about the Supernatural and the Art of 35mm Photography.
A Photographer, a Videographer and a Storyteller.
Mitchell Thorburn has set his sights on future ambitious projects to come.
