My TV series follows my Memoir, "Suddenly Single," I'm a retired college writing teacher, now learning how to format Final Draft for a TV template. My memoir and the script based on it "Life After Death," brings laughter as well as tears.
A former Miss New York State in the Miss America Pageant, I've lived as a widow who discovered the feminist cause. I loved being in love, but now I'm old enough to be quite happy without that distraction. I've published stories and an Op Ed in the local paper, lectured about Memoir, and read some on our NPR l Listener essays/ feature.
For me, life after the sudden death of my husband meant earning a doctorate, teaching and publishing academic papers, before I retired. I had taught all ages from preschoolers to adults returning to college for their degrees. Now I have enough experience, including cringe-worthy dates, to write entertaining screenplays. Please don't ask me about Atlantic City.

Newly retired from teaching online. Plays guitar, long career as a chorister, opera fan as well as the Beatles. I attend Yoga classes and am devoted to my small dog. Politics and good movies are my distractions. Due to my interest in Women's History, I have begun to interview some extraordinary women who have overcome a variety of challenges.
