Miriam is a filmworker in film, tv and commercials in Boston/New England and has worked on dozens of studio and independent film sets.
She writes and directs short films usually in the horror comedy genre. With her work she talks about difficult subjects and gives it a dash of horror. Her 2023 short film Petunia won the Midnight Madness Audience Award at the Long Island International Film Expo and she won Best Newcomer for her 2018 short film Smile at the Shawna Shea Memorial Film Festival. Her newest horror thriller short film, which is based on a true story, JAW, is currently on the festival circuit, having recently premiered at the Boston Underground Film Festival.
Her work has screened at: Shawna Shea Memorial, Boston Underground, Culver City, Boston Scifi, Byron Bay Underground, Grrl Haus Cinema, NH Film Festival, Massachusetts Independent Film Festival, Other Worlds Austin, and Long Island International Film Expo.
