Mike Talplacido is a queer Filipino-American artist based in North Carolina. Born in the Philippines, Mike is the author of Kiss My Mike, a memoir chronicling his life as a gay Filipino immigrant in America. The book follows his journey from a pop-culture-obsessed boy in the Philippines to an adult navigating self-discovery, rejection, and acceptance in the U.S.

In addition to being a published author, Mike is an aspiring screenwriter and filmmaker. His work spans various TV and film projects, where he has taken on roles as a writer, producer, and director. Some of his past and upcoming projects include To Ken With Love, The Perfect Couple (short film), The Manalos, and #DONT.
