Hollywood and academia faculties are a challenge — no Hispanics especially women. Not a single paid Latina director in the whole country. The Hollywood establishment set up virtue signaling programs (especially Hollywood behind-the-cameras decision-making positions) designed to keep you forever a neophyte in a never-ending process. But the paltry numbers don’t lie — as decades go by, these elites revel in their ignorance —a couple of examples, the remake of “West Side Story” didn’t have a single behind-the-camera Hispanic woman in it, except maybe as help. “Jurassic Park” didn’t have a single Central American originally and none thirty years later. University faculty rosters — especially in film — contain no Hispanic names. And on and on…
