I'm like if a director was a girl!
Miette Deschenes is a writer, director, and editor based in Los Angeles. She studied film production at The Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA. Her work explores body horror, feminism, and the terrors of being a person online. Her debut short film morningshed (2026) was an official selection of Crypticon Seattle Horror Film Festival, The Great Film Club, and Movie Screeners Club. She has also written and produced video essays, artist interviews, and a variety of sketches. She is currently developing her next short film and trying very hard to stop telling her friends how much she loves David Lynch every 20 minutes.
