International Micro Short Film Festival

The International Micro Short Film Festival is a celebration of the ultra short form! Short films are amazing in all forms: But we have a special love for filmmakers that are able to utilize less to say more. It is such an impressive talent to be able to effectively showcase a story in the micro form, and our festival is dedicated to the work within that world.

The French philosopher Blaise Pascal has a beautiful quote that represents our festival well: "I would have written a shorter letter, but I did not have time."

The International Micro Short Film Festival is focused on bringing as much value as possible to our filmmakers. Our specialization is in the ultra short form, but it just so happens that Hollywood has a strong interest in the category, especially on the narrative side. So of course, our festival was built by industry folks, with the goal of shining light onto amazing short form work and connecting industry film personnel with filmmaking talent of all forms, from across the globe.

Our festival is filled with opportunity for filmmakers: and it continues to evolve every year. Through masterclasses, resources, tools, awards, networking, publications, connections, screening blocks, panels and more: We aim to give film enthusiasts a chance to show what they can do in the short form, and take away value for the long term.
