With a background in wildland firefighting, Michael Sherman has a passion for wildfires and the ecological balance it provides to the landscape. Having grown up along the McKenzie River, which was greatly impacted by the 2020 Labor Day Fires in Oregon, he also understands and feels the weight fire can put onto our communities.
