Director Michael “Miguelito” LaMorté has been
a fixture at The Palm Beach Improv since 2014.
As the stage manager, and “Voice of God”, he
recently surpassed 5000 shows at this iconic
venue and the frontal voice of the orchestra led by
Grammy Award winning Pablo “Chino” Nuñez,
anything is possible for “Miguelito” –
his earned nickname. He has topped the
dance charts with Chris Cox, written and
directed numerous comedy shorts, and has
collaborated musically with an impressive
list of humble personalities from powerful
religious leaders, liberal journalists, to iconic
rockers . Dubbed a “Life timer” publicly by
songsmith John Hiatt, his knack for a smile
and a laugh prove he is in love with the
process of creating soulful bits for everyones
enjoyment. He continues to perfect his craft as
a singer/writer/director with a heart rooted
profoundly in urban Latin culture
