Michael Guy drew inspiration from the art of storytelling at an early age. He first began expressing himself through writing in elementary school. His passion, then masked as a hobby, began to take root as he entertained his friends with his creative and comedic stories. Over time, Michael’s hobby manifested itself into other outlets, such as music and film. In high school, Michael began producing weekly, comedic, sketch-styled short films with his friends; which ignited a desire to one day see his stories on the silver and big screen.
Upon graduating high school, Michael left his hometown of Minneapolis, Minnesota to attended Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia; where he studied Psychology. Over the next three years, his internal desire to create laid dormant. Michael finally decided to take his future in entertainment seriously and made the move to Orlando, Florida, where he enrolled in Full Sail University’s Entertainment Business Bachelor of Science program.
Michael, with numerous course director awards, graduated as the class Valedictorian. Shortly after, he married his loving fiancé and moved to Miami, Florida. He went on to earn a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Creative Writing at Full Sail. Over the course of the entertainment-based writing program, Michael has developed several television series concepts and began writing his first feature-length film.
Michael has most recently relocated to Los Angeles, in the fall of 2016, to foster his dream of becoming a Film & Television Writer/Producer.
