Mich Dela Cruz is a Manila-based Broadcast Producer with nearly a decade of experience in Advertising. She has worked with local and global brands such as UNICEF, McDonald’s, Spotify, Singapore Tourism Board, and Japan Tobacco International.
Beyond her advertising career, Mich pursues filmmaking as a creative outlet, taking on multi-faceted roles from Assistant Director to Production Manager, Writer, and Actor. She starred in the experimental short Do Plagues Happen Like Songs in a Revolution, which screened at the Sinalang Film Festival 2024, and served as Unit Production Manager and 1st Assistant Director for The Dust in Your Place, a Cinemalaya 2021 short that also made rounds in international festivals including Cannes World Film Festival, Berlin Art Film Festival, and Florence Film Awards.
Her latest work, Matyag (Watchful), marks her debut as a writer-director. The film was officially selected for the Lift-Off Global Network’s First-Time Filmmaker Sessions Volume 5 (2025) and the Egyptian American Film Festival 2025.
Mich’s film journey began in college, when an Intro to Film class sparked her curiosity and led her to star in Ang Kaibigan Naming Si Daisy, which premiered at the 2013 Sky Is Everywhere Film Festival. Since then, she has carried that same spark into every set she steps onto. Now, she’s gradually returning to her storytelling roots with her next project, The Subscriber Cannot Be Reached, currently in development.
