Micah Wolkenberg is an award winning freshman filmmaker at Emerson College interested in telling stories that explore deep emotions through both documentary and narrative fiction. She is driven by a desire to capture moments of honesty, vulnerability, and human complexity on screen. Micah’s student films have been recognized nationally, earning a National Student Production Award from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences for her short documentary film “Dealing with Cancer.” Micah has also won first place in the 2024 JCC Chicago Jewish Film Festival Student Competition. As she continues to develop her voice as a filmmaker, Micah remains committed to crafting meaningful stories that resonate long after the credits roll.
