Faca Escobar (José C. Paz, Buenos Aires) is a photographer, editor, and audiovisual filmmaker. His work moves between eroticism, desire, and identity exploration, with a deeply intimate, performative, and experimental gaze. A queer artist from the Buenos Aires outskirts, Faca builds a unique aesthetic that celebrates the body as a political, poetic, and joyful territory.
Alongside his artistic practice, he works as a live performance photographer and videographer, collaborating with artists, bands, and singers, capturing onstage energy through a distinctive sensitivity.
In 2024, he launched Goce, a series of erotic short films where the image becomes ritual, drive, and manifesto. Through sensitive framing and charged atmospheres, his work inhabits spaces of pleasure, vulnerability, and power, challenging the boundaries between the private and the visible.
Faca embraces an audiovisual language that does not seek answers, but sensations — where the body, ever-present, is protagonist, question, and celebration.
