In Act 1 of breaking into the industry.
Melissa Manna is an aspiring screenwriter based in the Midwest. After working in TV production in Los Angeles and then for in-house marketing teams, she hit the pause button on her career to focus on being "Mom."
The best piece of advice Melissa ever received was from Dick Wolf, creator of Law and Order. “What’s your advice if I want to make it as a screenwriter?” Melissa asked him in 2005. “Do anything but write,” Wolf responded. “Live life so that later you can write stories that truly resonate with audiences.” Fast forward 20 years later.
“Pieces of Eva” is Melissa’s first full-length feature.
