Melinda Matticoli (She/Her/Hers) is an award-winning dancer, choreographer, educator, creative director, and filmmaker from Skillman, New Jersey, working out of New York City and Los Angeles. Melinda has worked with creators including Parth Sethi, Steven Blandino, Kevin Jenkins, Aspen Waddell, and Nicole Fosse. Melinda began professionally choreographing at 17, and has presented work at Club Jeté, Sybarite Love is Love, Club NYC, and Journey Dance Awards.
Melinda began her dance training at the age of 3 and went to train at Broadway Dance Center's Children and Teens program (Jamison Novello Scholarship Recipient). In her professional career, she has performed alongside the band "Cold Weather Company" and The Verdon Fosse Legacy. Her work has been seen in digital ad campaigns with Peerspace, Goldfish, and 8Greens. Melinda's work on film has also been presented at national and international film festivals, including Dance Films Lab, New York International Film Awards, Oniros Film Awards, and Los Angeles Film Awards.
Melinda's passion for teaching has allowed her to teach at countless studios across the country. She currently guest teaches at T Milly, Movement Lifestyle, Soul de Soul Dance Convention, Genesis Studios, Lume Dance Training, Carbon the Collective, UPenn Arts House, and more. As a DEEA-certified educator, Melinda hopes to share her passion for dance to help uplift and inspire others in an uplifting and collaborative space.
