Mei (Mei-Yee Tan) is a 2D animation Filmmaker and Illustrator from Malaysia. Along the way, she has lived in Kuala Lumpur and Beijing before residing in New York. She finished pursuing her Bachelors of Fine Arts degree at the School of Visual Arts and now is she working as a Background artist in Animation. Her expertise lies in color scripting and making designing backgrounds to form the look and feel of a film.

When she is not working, you’ll find her in hunting bubble tea in Chinatown or frolicking in the park.
