BEN CLARK & MEGAN PUGH

Ben Clark is a Comedian, Actor, Writer and Director, best known as one third of the award winning sketch group Pappy's. He co-created, wrote and performed in two series of the accomplished BBC3 sitcom Badults. Ben also writes and performs for the highly popular podcast Pappy's Flatshare Slamdown, nominated for the Internet Award at the 2013 Chortle Awards. Ben has written and performed for: C4's Host the Week, Meet the Parents, 50 Funniest Moments and Robert's Web, the live panel show Humble Quest for Universal Genius, and John Bishop's Big Year for BBC1. Ben has directed two Edinburgh Award nominated shows: Spencer Jones: The Audition and Tom Parry: Yellow T-Shirt. He has also directed several other successful Edinburgh Fringe Festival shows for: Luke Kempner, Twins and Matt Winning. He also writes avidly for TV shows and commercials.

Megan’s past experience has been dedicated to live comedy production. For seven years, she cultivated a career by working with the likes of ESM Enterprise, Mick Perrin Worldwide and Chambers Management Touring. She’s produced and assisted produced shows for the likes of David O’Doherty, Jack Whitehall, Sarah Millican and Stuart Goldsmith. Whilst The Blue Door is the first film she has created, her writing has been seen performed by Kangaroo Court Theatre Company and at Theatre 503.
