Ken Do was born in Calgary, Alberta and raised in Vancouver, BC, Canada to Vietnamese parents who came to the country as refugees in the 1980s. Ken’s father introduced him to Taekwondo at a young age and his love for the sport quickly blossomed, leading him to compete across both Canada and the United States and eventually winning the prestigious “Triple Crown” tournaments. His passion for martial arts inspired him to pursue a career in the stunt industry and since then he has been a core member of the teams responsible for designing the action-packed sequences on such films as “Deadpool 2”, GI Joe’s “Snake Eyes”, Netflix’s “Avatar: the Last Airbender” and “Wu Assassins”, as well as the CW’s “Kung Fu” to name a few. This journey through the film industry sparked Ken’s desire to create his own films and thus was born, “Jheff Wick”. Drawing on the knowledge he’s gained from working in film and television for over a decade, Ken has now embarked on a dream of telling his own stories as well as creating opportunities and giving back to the AAPI community for which he feels a deep honor and privilege to be a part of.
