Student Art Festival (SAF) is an international creative media festival dedicated to emerging artists, student creators, filmmakers, musicians, animators, and digital visionaries who embrace innovation, diversity, and artistic expression.

Entering its 8th edition, SAF continues its evolution as a modern platform where the next generation of creators can showcase bold ideas, unique voices, and future-driven storytelling through film, music, animation, digital art, immersive media, and new creative technologies.

Founded in 2017, the festival was originally launched under the name Mega Art Festival and has now been reimagined as Student Art Festival (SAF), reflecting a new era focused on emerging talent, creative experimentation, and the future of media arts.

Each year, SAF brings together projects from around the world, offering audiences the opportunity to discover original international voices and experience a new wave of contemporary creativity.

Whether you are a student, independent creator, professional artist, or passionate storyteller, SAF welcomes creators who challenge boundaries and inspire through art.

Rules & Terms

• Competition is open to students, emerging creators, independent artists, and professionals from around the world.

• Each participant may submit projects in categories including short film, documentary, animation, music video, digital art, AI media, immersive media, mobile storytelling, and other creative formats accepted by Student Art Festival (SAF).

• All submitted works must be original creations of the participant(s).

• Student Art Festival (SAF) reserves the right to use accepted projects, trailers, images, titles, and excerpts for promotional, educational, marketing, and festival purposes.

• SAF reserves the right to refuse any submission considered inappropriate, offensive, or not aligned with the festival’s vision and guidelines.

• Each participant confirms that they have obtained all necessary rights, permissions, licenses, and releases related to the submitted work, including music, footage, performances, and third-party materials.

• Participants confirm that they are the original creator(s) of the submitted project. If collaborators are involved, all collaborators must be properly credited.

• Submission to SAF implies full acceptance of all festival rules and regulations.

• Projects will be reviewed and evaluated by a panel of industry professionals, artists, filmmakers, and creative media specialists.

• Submissions will be judged based on creativity, originality, artistic quality, innovation, storytelling, technical execution, and overall impact.

• SAF reserves the right to reject submissions that do not meet technical or eligibility requirements.

• All entry fees are non-refundable.

• Projects may be submitted in any language. Non-English projects should include English subtitles whenever possible.

• Selected projects may be presented online, in-person, or in hybrid festival screenings and exhibitions during the festival event.

• By submitting to SAF, participants grant the festival permission to include their work in official festival programming and promotional materials.
