Meg is a born-and-bred Angeleno, who loves her unruly city. She studied Theater at Hamilton College in Upstate, NY. After college, she came back to Los Angeles and hit the improv and stand up scene hard, studying at Improv Olympic West, Upright Citizens Brigade and Groundlings Theaters. She’s performed thousands of shows all over Los Angeles, including her one-woman shows, The Irresponsible Girl’s Guide to Having it All and The Irresponsible Girl’s Guide to Dating, which she eventually turned into a pilot of the same name. That pilot went on to the second round of the 2017 Sundance Episodic Lab. In 2016, she studied screenwriting at the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts, where she wrote her first film, a romantic comedy feature, Two-Drink Minimum, which was a runner-up at the 2016 Hedgebrook Screenwriters’ Lab and an honoree at the 2017 Austin Revolution Film Festival. Her horror feature, No Overnight Parking, nabbed her a spot in the 2018 Hedgebrook Screenwriters’ Lab, mentored by The Punisher EP Felicia Henderson and producer Nina Sadowsky. Meg’s newest comedy pilot, Double Scoop, was named a 2019 ScreenCraft Fellowship Semi-Finalist and a Quarter-Finalist in the 2019 Script Pipeline TV Writing Competition. Meg also likes dancing like a maniac, eating gummi bears, and writing female-forward scripts.

When she hasn’t been performing comedy or writing films, Meg has been busy with her 11-year career as a breaking news writer, writing for Entertainment Tonight and E! News’ websites.
