Medea Tchelidze is a Georgian aspiring filmmaker who majored in International Relations with a concentration on East Asia, focusing on South Korea. Having achieved a high proficiency in the Korean language and studied its history extensively, Medea has always been fascinated by Korean culture. Despite initially pursuing a career in international relations, the desire to become a filmmaker led her to enroll in the Georgian-American Film Academy. There, she completed an intensive filmmaking course and shot her first short film in Tbilisi, featuring Korean actors and the Korean language.
Medea's work blends Eastern cultural influences with the local flavor of Georgia, creating a unique cinematic experience that reflects both the fusion of cultures and the universal power of storytelling.
