Now accepting short films for a festival happening on Valentine's Day 2026!

Join us at the Philamoca for a collection of shorts by filmmakers from all over the globe! Any and every genre - shot in 4k or by your older sister's flip phone - all the films are joined by one theme! A "Kiss" <3

Make it a date or come on your own, but either way, bring a Valentine's Day card to swap with another audience member <3 We did this last year and had over 35 people swap cards with each other! This is an 18+ event!

This festival is pushing filmmakers to create a short with a smooch, but other than that, the sky's the limit.

Awards & Prizes

This is inspired by the film 50 Kisses, in which 50 directors/writers came together to create an anthology of romantic Valentine-themed shorts. The goal for this festival is not only to showcase shorts from filmmakers all over the world, but also to compile them into an anthology film.

We'll also being giving out specific laurels for best SFX, location, score, and KISS!

Rules & Terms

Each short film must be no longer than 15 minutes (excluding credits) and feature a kiss!

Any genre is welcome, as well as films including adult content. And whether it’s shot on a camcorder, your iPhone, or in 4k on a Blackmagic, it’s accepted here!

Final submission deadline is February 7th, and all funds go towards the festival and hopefully a physical release of the films together, after all, who doesn’t want a disc chock full of people making out ❤️
