Born in Corpus Christi, Texas, Matthew and Denise Thornton co-own and run Griffyn.Co Productions, which specializes in a wide array of creative audio/visual media. The pair maintains strong ties to their Texas roots and remains committed to making independent films that can be shared throughout their local community.

As an actor, Matthew has appeared in 4 different television series and 4 feature films including Silverfish, his directorial debut. He taught film acting with adults for 4 years in Austin, TX, during which time he wrote and published a book on acting (Imitating Life: The Art of Modern Acting).

Denise has served as a co-writer and the executive producer for all of Griffyn.Co's film and media productions. She also is the primary producer for their podcast, Creative Moonlighting.
