Matthew is a recent graduate at the Dodge College of Film and Media Arts at Chapman University. He majored in Creative Producing, a minor in Advertising, and has served as the sole producer and operated in other production roles in several student films at Chapman, some of which have been award contenders.

Recently, Matthew has developed and written his own short script titled "Modern Warfare", which he is hoping to spread the word about and eventually produce as an independent film in the near future. He has submitted this script to several film festivals across the country, and as a result has won 3 prestigious awards for his work and has been selected for several esteemed film festivals, including the HollyShorts Screenplay Contest as well as Flickers' Rhode Island International Film Festival. He is hoping to receive feedback from industry professionals to sharpen his writing skills even further.

Matthew has been looking towards entering the world of production management, hoping to become a Unit Production Manager in any medium of the entertainment industry. While he is working towards that goal, Matthew is striving to write and produce more short scripts to maintain his creativity.
