Matthew Sheather was born and grew up in Sydney, Australia alongside his parents and his three brothers. Around in his mid teens when Matthew was growing creative and has grown a passion for films, he began writing his own creative stories and also began writing his own creative screenplays for film. Long after graduating from Hunters Hill High as he continued screenwriting, Matthew began doing screenwriting courses from Australian Writers Centre and at Australian Film, Television and Radio School, where he also completed a film directing course.
