I’m an Armenian-Australian filmmaker, practice-based researcher, and cultural producer working across festival direction, screen programming, governance, and community partnerships. My work spans film creation, cultural event production, board service, and industry collaboration, with a focus on multicultural storytelling and mental health.
I am the Founder and Festival Director of the Multicultural Mental Health Film Festival (MMHFF), organised by the Mental Health Foundation Australia. Having completed its third year in 2025 at ACMI, the festival has grown into an international, volunteer-led platform for multicultural mental health storytelling, including the New Voices in Australian Cinema program, reaching over 3 million people worldwide, showcasing filmmakers from 35+ countries, and celebrating 16 award-winning works.
Alongside this, I recently joined the Board of Directors at Channel 31, contributing to the organisation’s strategic direction and supporting community-focused, diverse media. I’m committed to using film as a tool for representation, connection, and mental health advocacy, creating spaces where lived experience, cultural heritage, and marginalised voices are centred.
I am also a multi-award-winning filmmaker and Deakin University graduate, currently completing my Master of Arts, with short films screened nationally and internationally.
