I edit like a nerd, think weird, and chase the moment a scene finally snaps into place. Everything’s on purpose, even the chaos.
I’ve been cutting and creating since the VHS days — long before timelines were digital and “export” meant hitting pause and record at just the right time. In high school, I shared a truly bizarre cable access TV show, stitched together with gear liberally borrowed from the AV room, early weekend mornings, and lots of rewinding.
I earned my Associate of Arts in Film & Video Production from Rockport College in 2003, and gave Hollywood a shot for a couple of years after that. I landed a brief internship at what was left of the National Lampoon, plus a few sad weird P.A. gigs — like a straight-to-video Stephen Baldwin thriller and a softcore adult 'film.' L.A. wasn’t my scene.
Since then, I’ve built a career as a professional editor and creative collaborator across industries. My past work includes roles at Darby O’Brien Advertising, Boston University’s School of Management, and the legendary game studio Harmonix Music Systems (Guitar Hero, Rock Band), where I helped shape promotional content with real creative range. In 2025, I founded Video Paradise, LLC.
Precision drives me. I’m obsessed with rhythm, nuance, and the way a well-timed cut can sell a joke, a story beat, or an emotional turn. I work fast under pressure, hold a high bar for quality, and never lose sight of what serves the story.
Growing up, I mostly wanted to be a cartoonist. I still draw constantly — in every margin and on every placemat, sometimes in After Effects. I’m also a dad, I play video games, and my favorite movie is Brazil. I know a thing or two about weird, beautiful chaos.
Keep it rad.
