Matías Carvajal Silva (Santiago de Chile, 1986) is an interdisciplinary artist with a degree in audiovisual directing and theater from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He has created audiovisual projects of various formats, going through video art, cinema, television and the development of new formats. As a performer he participates in stage projects associated with contemporary dance and live arts.

In audiovisual, he has made the short films “Día 32” (Cine B Festival 2014 and FICIL 2014) and “Los Cimientos” (Chilean Talent Sanfic 2015); He has also directed the video art pieces “Aftershock 0101011” (Emma Goldman Anarchist Film Festival 2020 Selection - New York and Showcase The people´s revolt, Maysles Documentary Center and Anthology Film Archives, New York) “Premonition” (Juan Downey International Competition Selection , 12th Biennial of Media Arts), the videodance “The domestic revolution of every day” (Official selection of international experimental video exhibition Proceso de Error, 2013), among others.
