Massimiliano Milic is a producer and director at Terroir Films, a film production company based in Trieste, Italy.

As a producer, he worked on the American film "Before We Forget" (2024), directed by Juan Pablo Di Pace and Andrés Pepe Estrada, and funded by the Italian Ministry of Culture (MIC). In 2024, he produced the short fiction film Transumanza, set in the Julian Alps and funded by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Audiovisual Fund, the FVG Film Fund, private foundations, and a successful crowdfunding campaign on Produzioni dal Basso. He is currently in production on the documentary "The Descent", funded by the Italian Ministry of Culture and local entities.

As a director, his latest film is "Last One", a documentary about one of the last artisanal millers in Italy. He is currently developing the documentary "As If There Were No Fires", which tells the story of the wildfires that struck the Karst region of Italy in 2022. The project is funded by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region and the FVG Audiovisual Fund. His previous works include the short films "Drago" (2022), distributed by RAI and "La Pizzeria" (2016).

For Terroir Films, he has worked on a variety of international, national, and regional commercials for renowned companies such as Armani, Slow Food, Toyota, Olive Garden, Live Nation, and Angelini Industries, as well as for creative agencies including Dentsu, Havas, Mofilm, Storytailors, and 89up.

He holds a Master of Science in Filmmaking and Media Arts from the University of Glasgow, and previously studied at IULM University of Milan and the Pontifical University of Salamanca.
