Mary Kate Allen grew up in Thomaston, GA before moving to Statesboro, GA where she graduated with a degree in Journalism from Georgia Southern University. She then moved to Jacksonville, FL temporarily to use that degree as a business journalist only to wind up moving to Savannah, GA where she eventually wound up as a desk jockey at an aerospace corporation (hint: so fly like a G6). Currently living in Georgia, she writes to evade her responsibilities as a stay at home mom and keep her wit nice and sharp.
