Martina Mele was born in Ferrara on 7 July 1997. In 2016 she graduated from the Dosso Dossi Art School in Ferrara. In 2019 she graduated in Disciplines of Figurative Arts, Music, Performing Arts and Fashion at the University of Bologna with a thesis on North American Cinema entitled "David Lynch's cinematographic painting: Eraserhead and the First Short Films".
In 2019 she founded the DestinationFilm social promotion association, with the aim of promoting cinema and theater, and works as an independent filmmaker.
In 2021 she wrote and directed the short film “So(g)no” (2022) currently distributed by Siberia Distribution. In the same year she directed the photography of the music video clip "To exist" by the artist and photographer SIERMOND, and was co-scriptwriter and 1st Assistant Director of the short film "Agosto in Pelliccia" (2022) by Alessandro Rocca, distributed by Gargantua Distribution.
In 2022 she was selected at the Figari Film Festival in the “Looking4 Producer” section with her screenplay “Rapacità”.
She is working as Assistant Set Designer on the film “100 Preludi” by Alessandra Pescetta, produced by Revok Film and Rai Cinema.
