Marti King Young is an award winning filmmaker and director of White Talon City.
Her short film, STOLEN, earned her the Best Director award at the Miami Beach Film Festival in 2018. She co-directed The Adventures of Wonderboy with Alan Brazzell and it has won several film festivals and earned a Social Awareness Award.
Marti has been featured in the German publication Cinewomen for her contributions to women in film, and was the 2015 recipient of the Women in Film and Television Finishing Grant. She serves as a screenplay judge for various festivals and speaks at educational campuses. Marti is also a member of the Alliance of Women Directors.
She's worked on big budget projects such as Annabelle Comes Home, The Conjuring 3, Genius: Aretha, After, and Sweet Magnolias (to name a few).
