Marteverick D. Shears is a Memphis born filmmaker, writer, and founder of Pressed Out Media Group. A U.S. Navy veteran turned visual storyteller, Marteverick crafts emotionally charged stories grounded in truth, tension, and cultural identity.
After serving seven years in the military, he taught himself to shoot, edit, and color grade before earning his degree in Film Production & Cinematography from The Los Angeles Film School. His work explores humanity through a cinematic lens, whether behind the camera or at the editing desk.
His award winning short films (The Only Fan, Room Service) have screened across the U.S., and he continues to push boundaries with each project visually, emotionally, and narratively.
