I am a native of Miami, FL. I have lived in the city of Chicago since 2001. Among being an Elementary School Educator for over 20 years, I have also utilized my talents as an actor, writer, editor, director, and producer. My theatrical stage credits include "Lifetimes on the Streets", "Talkin' Bones", "Waiting for Lefty", and "Fathers and Sons". I have also been featured in commercials for Chase Bank, BMO Bank, and Comcast Sportsnet. My film credits include "Mister Mom", "No Chaser", and "Zachariah Tucker", all of which I wrote and directed. I currently live in Joliet, IL. As an independent filmmaker, my focus has been writing, producing and directing. I have been fortunate enough to receive recognition and awards for my work. “Disturbing Silence” won “Best Science Fiction Screenplay” as part of the Oregon Short Film Festival (2021). “The Good Fight” was awarded “Best Short Screenplay” of the Columbus Black Film Festival (2021). “Jenesis”, a sci-fi feature screenplay was selected as a “Semi Finalist” as part of the Miami Screenplay Awards (2021). In 2018, my dramatic short “tow.” was a finalist in the screenplay category at the South Carolina Film Festival. In 2017, “The Howards” was a documentary I shot about my family during the holiday season. “Mister Mom”, a short family film about an unemployed husband and father caring for his toddler daughter, was selected as part of the “opening night” ceremony for the Black Harvest Festival for Film & Video in Chicago, IL, in 2015. I wrote, co-produced and directed a crime-drama, “Zachariah Tucker”, in 2014. In 2010 at the BHFF, my short film “No Chaser”, was voted “Audience Choice for Best Short Film”.
