Marius Anderson is a German filmmaker based in Duluth, Minnesota. He often works solo directing, producing, filming, writing and editing documentaries and news stories for networks around the world including PBS, Great Big Story/CNN, ARD, DW-TV (German TV), SRF (Swiss TV), ARTE (France/Germany).
Marius was recently the producer, Director of Photography and co-director of the feature length documentary "Iron Opera" which aired on PBS/WDSE in November of 2021.
Amazon Studios hired Marius as the Director of Photography for the 6-part sports documentary series "FC Bayern - Behind The Legend", filming in New York City, Dallas and Kansas City. The show is streaming worldwide on Amazon Prime Video since fall of 2021.
Marius is currently working on final post-production of the feature-length documentary 40 Below about extreme endurance athletes on their quest to finish the toughest race in the world in 40 degrees below zero (yes, really!). Marius is the primary cinematographer and editor of this film.
