Marilyn McNeal (Director/Producer/Editor) is an experimental filmmaker who makes video essays and micro documentaries that combine freestyle movement, exploration of the natural world, and reflections on present moment awareness. Work from Earth:Connect and Down The Rabbit Hole were included in the Baltimore Next Media Web Fest, the NYC Shorts of all Sorts Festival, and the Independent Shorts Awards. She has been interviewed by independent media for her soundtracks and narration and some of her early work has been archived by The Internet Archive. She received her Masters in Media Studies from the New School for Social Research and taught web production and visual storytelling in the San Francisco Bay Area for 16 years. She is currently studying screenplay writing at The Independent Film School.
