Marianne Harlé was born in Paris on 30 September 1998. She graduated in cinema at the Lisbon Theatre and Film School.
Her experience at the school focused mainly on the areas of Direction and Cinematography, mainly through the direction of two projects: the documentary Entrudo (2019) and her final film, Altas, as Gaivotas (2020), which had its world premiere at IndieLisboa 2020 (Novíssimos section).
She works in the art department, most notably as an assistant on the films Bad Living and Living Bad (2023) by João Canijo, Cláudia Varejão's Wolf and Dog (2022) and First Person of the Plural (2025) by Sandro Aguilar.
