Natural born storyteller and official videographer for family and friends since 1989. Magna Cum Laude Alumni of Venezuela's most important film school EMA ULA (BFA Directing for Film).
After graduating, she moved away from her small hometown to pursue a career in Film and TV in Caracas, Venezuela. She worked as an Assistant Director for the country's internationally recognized feature films like La Familia (Cannes Film Festival 2017) and El Amparo (San Sebastián Film Festival 2016). Her first short film Salta (Dive) is a subtle and sensitive coming of age story that premiered at Tribeca Film Festival 2017 and obtained the Jury ́s Mention for Student Visionary Award. It also won Best Short Film award at the 20th Pink Apple Festival in Switzerland, has been screened in over 15 countries and is currently available online thanks to Amazon's Prime Video Film Festival Stars Program.
Her second project Vuela (Fly), a queer story about love and the Venezuelan Diaspora, was one of the the Top 5 finalists of the Chanel+Tribeca Film Institute Program “Through Her Lens” 2017, Semi-finalist for the NALIP ́s “Latino Lens Incubator” Program 2018 and and is currently on the development phase.
